I’ve been reading about habits and time.
A quote on time from A Course In Miracles: “The purpose of time is to enable you to learn to use time constructively. It is thus a teaching device and a means to an end. Time will cease to exist when it is no longer useful in faciliating learning. ”
and on habits, from Personal Development for Smart People: “Habits are your mind’s approach to time management. It would be extremely inefficient for you to consciously decide how to spend every minute of your day.”
the good habit I’d like to develop is continual positivity. maybe also might try waking up at 5am and doing creative work.
the bad habit I’d like to give up is checking and responding to email constantly- which is a tricky one, because I can think of numerous business reasons to do so, and the times that fast responses have proved beneficial.
