We have a busy week coming up, and even though 80% of the items on the calendar are things I really enjoy doing, I feel stressed out by seeing the week covered in meetings or tasks. My automatic response to seeing a full schedule is anxiety around not having enough time for creative work.
Of course, over the past year, my work life has changed dramatically because I no longer spend hours and hours every week doing manual clothing production tasks, like pattern-making, cutting, bundling, quality assurance, and shipping. Yet somehow, despite that significant chunk of time becoming freed up, I still feel the same way about time.
Time being an abstraction in the first place, the issue must be psychological (and thus, resolvable!)
